It goes without saying that we always have great fun on our Cupcake Workshops.
This one was extra special.
A few weeks back we were approached by Rachel from Coventry Grapevine, a charity whose aim is to ‘reduce the isolation and segregation experienced by people with learning disabilities and their families.’
She wanted to use our workshop as an opportunity for a couple of the volunteers to enjoy a fun activity alongside a few of the people who use Grapevine’s services and we were more than happy to help out.
We spent two hours with the group of eight, showing them how to make handcut decorations, pipe buttercream roses, swirls and grass and encouraging them to top off their cakes with masses of glitter and sprinkles!
We all had great fun and there was plenty of laughter. The girls decorated their cakes beautifully and even gave us a few creative ideas!
Here are a selection of photographs taken during the evening and I’m sure you’ll agree that a great time was had by all!
