When we first started Two Cousins Bakery, we were set on the idea that we would just make cupcakes…and nothing else.

And so we did….for about 12months, even going so far as to turn away orders for traditional wedding cakes, childrens cakes and celebration cakes.

But it soon became clear that in order to grow our business we had to provide people with what they wanted and so we expanded into celebration cakes and have loved every minute of baking and creating them!

Then one day we had a brain wave! From enquiries we were receiving, we became aware that there was a gap in the market for quality, reasonably priced cakes.

And so we decided to plug that gap and came up with our ‘basics’ range of celebration cakes.

We started to produce 7″ round cakes in either, lemon, chocolate or vanilla, covered them in fondant icing and topped them off with some neat, simple decorations! We launched them just two weeks ago and they are proving very popular!

You could try a sunflower like the one in the photo, or how about teddy bears, stars, butterflies or a spotty cake!

These 7″ cakes cut into 12 generous pieces and can be used for birthdays, christening parties, kids parties, anniversary even small weddings!

Obviously we can’t beat the supermarkets on price, but  for just £20 you’ll get a delicious, freshly made and unique cake.

We love them so much, we know what we’ll be making for our kids birthday’s this year!
